2008 MARKS SPOTSWOOD'S 100TH ANNIVERSARY
Dear Friend:
This milestone will be celebrated through various events planned during the course of the year.
Our 'kickoff' event was held at the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 1, 2007. The celebrations will culminate with a huge family day picnic with many activities scheduled for July 2008. Our five honorees that day are the Rev. Joseph Woods, Sheriff Joseph Spicuzzo, The Honorable Charles Meade, The Honorable Wayne Hamilton, and Mr. Frank Kardashian. The planning is still on going and additional information will be available on the Spotswood Web page, www.spotswoodboro.com. Look under 100th Anniversary Icon for more information.
We are faced with the enormous task of raising funds to fulfill these plans. Our plan is to produce a full color brochure for the 100th Anniversary celebration. Mr. Gary Bacher of RN-W Associates, 181 Long Hill Road, Little Falls, New Jersey, 07424 is authorized to solicit advertising donations on behalf of our fine Borough. Additionally, if you purchase an ad, you can set up a table to inform the public about you and your company on July 20th at our celebration. We anticipate an attendance that day of 1,500 to 2,000 people.
On behalf of the Borough Council, the Cultural and Heritage Commission, our residents, and myself, I am requesting that you purchase an advertisement for your business or organization to help us make our 100th Anniversary celebration truly remarkable.

causes. Your support of this important occasion will make it possible to acknowledge
