ORDINANCE - 1st READING - PUBLIC HEARING - January 26, 2009

ORDINANCE 01-2009:

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING THE SALARY ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD ENTITLED "AN AMENDMENT TO AN ORDINANCE FIXING AND ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES AND WAGES OF CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, STATE OF NEW JERSEY."

ORDINANCE - 1st READING - PUBLIC HEARING - January 26, 2009

ORDINANCE 02-2009:

AN ORDINANCE REGULATING PARKING, STOPPING AND STANDING ON THE FOLLOWING: (1) A PORTION OF PROPERTY BORDERING MAIN STREET IN THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD AND LEASED FROM CONSOLIDATED RAIL CORP.", (2) ON BLOCK 48, LOT 1, (3) ON BLOCK 46, LOT 5

2009-1 Borough Council authorize the appropriate officials to execute all instruments necessary to complete a State Contract purchase with Warnock Fleet and Leasing for the purpose of purchasing a 2008 Dodge Durango for the Spotswood Fire Department.

2009-2 Borough Council authorize the appropriate officials to enter into a contract with Gerard Stankiewicz, RMA, CPA for the purpose of municipal auditing services for the year 2009.

2009-3 Borough Council appoint Councilwoman Margaret Drozd as a member of the Housing and Community Development Committee for the year 2009.

2009-4 Advice and consent of the Borough Council to reappoint Lorraine Nielsen of the firm of Shamy, Shipers & Lonski as Municipal Prosecutor for the year 2009.

2009-5 2009 temporary Budget for the Borough of Spotswood.

2009-6 Borough Council authorize Mayor Barlow to sign any and all permits and applications with the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.

2009-7 Business Administrator, Ronald Fasanello be designated as the Borough of Spotswood's Public Agency Compliance Officer.

2009-8 Borough Council authorize the CFO to make final payment to the Township of East Brunswick for interlocal for phase I of the reconstruction of Old Stage Road between New Brunswick Avenue and Summerhill Road in the amount of $9,818.77.

2009-9 Borough Council authorize the amendment of resolution 2005-177, South Central Middlesex County Flood Control Commission due to a Municipal Election and change of command in administration in 2008, naming the new Mayor and Council member as representative and alternate member to the Flood Control Commission.

2009-10 Borough Council authorize CME Associates to submit a proposal for reviewing the Borough's technical specifications and preparing the bid documents for a new ambulance for the Borough of Spotswood not to exceed $980.00.

2009-11 Payment of Bills.
