ORDINANCE 2008-02
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, CHAPTER 14 ENTITLED "FIRE DEPARTMENT" BY AMENDING SECTION 14-1, "ESTABLISHMENT OF VOLUNTEER DEPARTMENT" THEREOF.

2008-27 Tax Assessor grants a Veteran Deduction for the year 2007 for property known as Block 82, Lot 2 which created a tax overpayment in the amount of $250.00.
2008-28 Borough Council wishes to go on record as vigorously opposing the conversion of Route 440 into a toll road as proposed by Governor Corzine.
2008-29 Borough Council authorize the appropriate officials to enter into a maintenance agreement for emergency generators located at the municipal building, water treatment plants and EMS building for a period of one year commencing February 12, 2008.
2008-30 Borough Council authorize the Borough Clerk to issue a 2008 wrecker license to Fred's Towing, as application has been approved by Borough Police.
2008-31 Mayor and Borough Council concur with the recommendations of the Citizen's Advisory Committee for the allocation of $45,900 grant from CDBG.
2008-32 Borough Council authorizes the appropriate officials to execute the contracts of renewal with Sayrebrook Animal Shelter and Sayrebrook Veterinary Hospital, P.A. for the year 2008.
2008-33 Mayor authorized to sign the grant application for the 2008 Municipal Alliance Grant.
2008-34 Borough of Spotswood, County of Middlesex appropriation reserve transfers within the 2007 budget during the first three months of the following year.
2008-35 Borough Council authorize Chief Financial Officer, during the year 2008, to pay invoices for insurance premiums, public utility services, debt and payroll, and public contracts.
