AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD BY AMENDING SUBSECTIONS 91-4, 91-5, 91-6, 91-7 AND 91-10 OF CHAPTER 91.

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD BY ADDING A NEW SECTION 107-5 ENTITLED "ISSUING AUTHORITY".

ORDINANCE - 2ND  READING - PUBLIC HEARING 

ORDINANCE 03-2007

AN ORDINANCE TO EXCEED THE MUNICIPAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION LIMITS AND TO ESTABLISH A CAP BANK FOR 2007 CALENDAR YEAR.


RESOLUTIONS - UNDER CONSENT AGENDA

2007-24        Change order No. 1 for Big Daddy Construction as recommended by CME Engineering.  Provides for a decrease in contract quantities and supplementary items reflected by actual field conditions encountered which does not result in any increase of the original contract amount.

2007-25        Borough Council authorize the Borough Clerk and CFO to refund wrecker renewal payments to two wrecker companies due to the fact that they do not meet the Borough Ordinance mileage range of five miles from the Municipal Building for storage.

2007-26        Borough Council authorize the Borough Clerk to grant 2007 wrecker licenses for police tow list, as all wreckers were approved by the Chief of Police.

2007-27        Mayor and Borough Council support legislation ensuring the safety and welfare of the disabled and to encourage enforcement of such legislation.

2007-28        Borough Council authorize the appropriate officials  to execute a grant of easement agreement for property located at 276 Summerhill Road, Spotswood.

2007-29        Mayor authorized to sign the grant application for the 2007 Municipal Alliance Grant.

2007-30        Mayor and Borough Council concur with the recommendations of the Citizen's Advisory Committee for the allocation of $45,900 grant from CDBG.

2007-31        Borough Council authorize the Borough Clerk and CFO to release a cash performance bond to developer William Buchan for property known as Bl. 1.85, Lts. 2&3 as recommended by CME and that a maintenance bond be posted in the amount of $748.62 and all outstanding fees be paid to the Borough.

2007-32        Borough Council authorize the hiring of a substitute crossing guard, Raymond  Perry due to a substitute crossing guard leaving the Borough's employ.

2007-33        Borough Council authorize the appropriate officials to enter into a maintenance agreement for emergency generators located at the municipal building and water treatment plants for one year commencing Feb. 12, 2007 thru Feb. 12, 2008 with an automatic renewal on the anniversary date with no hourly rate increase for the second consecutive year.
2007-34        Borough Council authorize CME & Associates to perform design phase, bid phase and construction administration services for Outcalt Avenue Curb Installation not to exceed $10,000.00

2007-35        Payment of Bills.
