ORDINANCE - 2ND READING - PUBLIC HEARING

The Clerk announced that ordinance 2017-02F was posted in the Municipal Building on February 7, 2017, advertised in full in the Home News on February 9, 2017 and public hearing was set for February 22, 2017.

ORDINANCE TO EXCEED THE MUNICIPAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION LIMITS AND TO ESTABLISH A CAP BANK (N.J.S.A. 40A: 4-45.14)

RESOLUTIONS - UNDER CONSENT AGENDA

Copies of the resolutions under consent agenda are available for perusal only on the table.  Anyone desiring a copy may contact the Clerk after the meeting.
2017-40    Mayor and Borough Council concur with the recommendation of the Citizen's Advisory Committee as to how the funds from CDBG will be expended.  The Borough will receive $35,140.00.

2017-41    Professional Service resolution authorizing French & Parrello to provide a 2017   regular inspection of the DeVoe Lake Dam for a fee not to exceed $3300.00.

2017-42    Borough Council authorize the Municipal Clerk to issue a wrecker license to Mendola Towing & recovery, Inc. to be put on the police tow list which was approved by Chief of Police.

2017-43    Borough Council authorize the Chief of Police to maintain proprietary software operation for an additional one year of Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Records Management System (RMS) from Enforsys Police Systems, Inc. in the amount of $14,673.00.

2017-44    Professional Service agreement with CME for professional engineering services associated with Improvements to Madie Avenue - Phase 2 project, for a fee not to exceed 59,860.00.

2017-45    Borough Council authorize the CFO to pay the sum of $12,683.64 to US Bank Custodian for PC5 Sterling National for redemption of Tax Sale Certificate #14-00011 for property known as Block 104, Lot 2.  Said amount being all taxes, interest and costs due to the bank.

2017-46    Borough Council authorize Mayor Seely to renew a shared service agreement for the purpose of providing Helmetta Borough with police dispatch services upon execution of agreement until December 31, 2017, to be paid in quarterly increments of $8,750.00 for a total of $35,000.00.

2017-47    Borough Council authorize Mayor Seely to renew a shared service agreement for the purpose of providing Helmetta Borough with solid waste services from 2017 thru 2020 to be paid in quarterly increments for 2017 in the amount of $48,887.72, 2018 in the amount of 52,929.48, 2019 in the amount of $56,971.24 & 2020 in the amount of $61,013.00, in addition Helmetta agrees to pay a per unit fee for the same period for any additional pick-up unit for which any additional Certificates of Occupancy's issued. 

2017-48    Payment of Bills.

2017-49    Back-up snow removal contract for snow removal from February 17, 2017 thru April 1, 2018 in the amount of $140.00 per hour.
