ORDINANCE-2nd READING- PH 
The Clerk announced that Ordinance 2016-4 was posted in the Spotswood Municipal Building on February 18, 2016 and advertised in full in the Home News Tribune on February 22, 2016.  A public hearing was set for March 7, 2016. Due to cancellation of March 7, 2016 meeting public hearing was moved to March 21, 2016 and advertised in the Home News Tribune on March 14, 2016 and posted in the Municipal Building.

ORDINANCE 2016-4
CAPITAL ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE NEW ELEVATED WATER STORAGE TANK PROJECT, WATER MAIN CLEANING AND CEMENT LINING, AND ROADWAY AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS TO THE COTTAGE STREETS AREA, AND APPROPRIATING $150,000 THEREFOR, AUTHORIZED IN AND BY THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY.

AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE BOROUGH'S AUTHORITY AND CONTROL OVER A PORTION OF MILLVILLE AVENUE IN THE  BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, STATE OF NEW JERSEY.

ORDINANCE - 1ST READING - PUBLIC HEARING- MARCH 21, 2016

ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 98 OF THE  BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD ENTITLED "FIRE PREVENTION" BY AMENDING SECTION 98-13 "OPEN BURNING", SECTION A.  DEFINITION.

INTRODUCTION OF 2016 MUNICIPAL BUDGET
2016-55    Introduction of the 2016 Municipal Budget. Public Hearing on the budget and tax resolution will be held on April 18, 2015, at which time  and place objections to said budget and tax resolution for the year 2016  may be presented by taxpayers or other interested persons.

RESOLUTIONS - UNDER CONSENT AGENDA
Copies of the resolutions under consent agenda are available for perusal only on the table.  Anyone desiring a copy may contact the Clerk after the meeting.
2016-43    Borough Council approve pay estimate No. 1 to Black Rock Enterprises, LLC in the amount of $158,145.07 for work completed from December 1, 2015 to February 8, 2016.
2016-44    Emergency temporary budget appropriation transfers due to 2016 budget has not been finally adopted.
2016-45    Borough Council authorized the Utility Collector to make credit adjustments to certain consumers in the Borough of Spotswood.
2016-46    3rd party redemption of tax sale certificate #14-00001 for property known as block 10.2 lot 32 in the amount of $3,441.97, said amount being all taxes, interest and costs due to Corelogic.
2016-47    Tax overpayment for property known as block 110.5, lot 8 due to duplicate payment made by Corelogic, said refund is in the amount of $2,204.45.
2016-48    Tax overpayment for property known as block 85.19, lot 4 in the amount of $1,825.83 and block 66, lot 12 in the amount of $1,694.11 due to duplicate payments from the title companies and mortgage company in the total amount of $3,519.94 be refunded to Lereta located in Covina, California.
2016-49    Borough Council authorize the appropriate officials to renew an Interlocal service agreement with the County of Middlesex for the purpose of establishing procedures for emergency responses and payment of costs when emergency HAZMAT response is required within the Borough for a period of two years commencing retroactively from January 1, 2016 thru December 31, 2018.
2016-50    Borough Council endorses the submission of municipal recycling tonnage grant application to the NJDEP office of recycling and designating David Sliker as coordinator.
2016-51    Borough Council authorized the appropriate officials to renew an interlocal service agreement with the County of Middlesex for the purpose of obtaining public health services for 2016 and 2017.
2016-52    Business Administrator and CME Associates recommend pay estimate #1 to BR Welding, Inc. for work performed on project known as sewage pump station improvements Manalapan Rd., Marlboro Rd., and Red Bank Rd. from August 25, 2015 to March 9, 2016 in the amount of $43,796.20.
2016-53    Payment of Bills.
2016-54    Borough Council authorized the Municipal Clerk to issue a 2016 renewal license to Big "A" Auto Sales and Service, Inc. for the purpose of operating a junkyard at 192 Manalapan Rd.
