ORDINANCE 09-2009
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, CHAPTER 2 ENTITLED “ADMINISTRATION OF GOVERNMENT” BY AMENDING SECTION 2-68 OF ARTICLE XI DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, RECREATION AND WELFARE.

2009-56 Borough Council authorize the CFO to refund to Lewis Tree Service remaining balance of $42.79 of Police Service Fee.
2009-57 Borough Council wish to honor our brave troops in connection with “Support Our Troops Day on April 19, 2009”.
2009-58 Borough Council wish to participate in the Sustainable Jersey Municipal Certification Program which is the first step toward achieving Sustainable Jersey certification between New Jersey League of Municipalities’ Mayors’ Committee for a Green Future.
2009-59 Professional Service Contract amendment for David Himelman, Esq. For additional funds to defend the borough in a matter of Borough vs. Giancola’s Civil Action Complaint.
2009-60 Borough Council authorize the appropriate officials to enter into an interlocal agreement with the Borough of Helmetta for the purpose of providing Police Dispatch Services to the Borough of Helmetta.
2009-61 Borough Council authorize the appropriate officials to enter into an interlocal agreement with the Borough of Helmetta for the purpose of collecting solid waste for the Borough of Helmetta.
2009-62 Professional service contract for CME Borough Engineer for providing information requested by the Middlesex County Planning Board to review borough tax maps for proposed Municipal Sewer Service Area Boundaries for a fee not to exceed $980.00.
2009-63 Mayor and Borough Council declare that the gypsy moth is declared to be a public nuisance and the protection of vegetation or plant life is deemed to be a subject matter of the public welfare and that all measures deemed necessary in compliance with the State of New Jersey Department of Agriculture recommendations is hereby authorized to suppress the forest and shade tree pest.
2009-64 Borough Council authorize CME Associates to prepare map revisions and print the maps for updating the drug free zones surrounding schools, parks, public buildings and public housing as requested by the Middlesex County Prosecutors Office for a sum not to exceed $356.00.
2009-65 Borough Council authorize the Mayor and Municipal Clerk to execute an agreement with Middlesex County to accept a grant in the amount of $9,099 for drug alliance activities.
