ORDINANCE 2008-12

BOND ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ACQUISITION OF AN AMBULANCE FOR THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, APPROPRIATING $65,000.00 THEREFORE AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $61,750.00 BONDS AND NOTES OF THE BOROUGH FOR FINANCING PART OF THE COST FOR IMPROVEMENTS AUTHORIZED TO BE UNDERTAKEN IN AND BY THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY.

2008-102 Borough Council authorize the appropriate officials to execute all documents required for purchase of the 2008 McCoy Miller type II Ford E350 XL ambulance.

2008-103 Borough Council authorized the Borough Engineer to apply for a New Jersey DOT FY 2009 Municipal Aid Program Grant.

2008-104 Mayor and Council strongly oppose the adoption of S-1137 which impinges on local management prerogatives and would potentially result in protracted costly negotiations and advances encroachments by public unions.

2008-105 Resolution for approval to submit a grant application and execute a grant agreement with the N.J. DOT for the Old Stage Road Improvements - Phase II project.

2008-106 Payment of bills
