BOND ORDINANCE AMENDING IN ITS ENTIRETY BOND ORDINANCE NO. 2005-04 ADOPTED MARCH 7, 2005 ENTITLED: "BOND ORDINANCE AMENDING IN ITS ENTIRETY BOND ORDINANCE NO. 2004-05 ADOPTED APRIL 19, 2004 ENTITLED "BOND ORDINANCE AMENDING IN ITS ENTIRETY BOND ORDINANCE NO. 2003-14 ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 22, 2003 ENTITLED: "BOND ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR VLIET STREET, ROAD, CURB AND SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS IN THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, APPROPRIATING $180,000 THEREFORE AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $50,000 OF BONDS AND NOTES OF THE BOROUGH FOR FINANCING PART OF THE COST FOR SAID IMPROVEMENT AUTHORIZED TO BE UNDERTAKEN IN AND BY THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY, TO INCREASE THE APPROPRIATION TO $293,000 TO INCREASE THE AUTHORIZED BOND AND NOTES TO $157,000, TO AMEND THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND TO MAKE SUCH OTHER AND CONFORMING CHANGES AS NECESSARY AND PROPER FOR SAID IMPROVEMENT AUTHORIZED TO BE UNDERTAKEN IN AND BY THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY, TO INCREASE THE APPROPRIATION TO $860,000 TO INCREASE THE AUTHORIZED BOND AND NOTES TO $415,000, AND TO MAKE SUCH OTHER AND CONFORMING CHANGES AS NECESSARY AND PROPER: TO INCREASE THE APPROPRIATION TO $1,020,000, TO INCREASE THE AUTHORIZED BOND AND NOTES TO $569,000, AND TO MAKE SUCH OTHER AND CONFORMING CHANGES AS NECESSARY AND PROPER.

2006-97 Appointment of Council President for 2006/2007.
2006-98 Borough Treasurer authorized to make such investments of public funds on hand and not needed temporarily in any insured Association or Federal Association, in such principal office or branch office for the Borough of Spotswood.
2006-99 Borough Council authorize Tax Collector to assess an additional six (6%) percent penalty to any taxpayer with a delinquency of all taxes, water/sewer and municipal charges due in the excess of $10,000.00 who fails to pay the delinquency prior to the end of the calendar year.
2006-100 Tax Collector to allow 10 day grace period for payment of municipal taxes and assessments without imposition of any interest charges in compliance with N.J. Statutes.
2006-101 Tax Collector to allow 33 day grace period from billing date on all utility bills.
2006-102 Borough Council appoints the Official Newspaper to be the Home News Tribune Gannett NJ Newspapers who has met statements of qualifications in accordance with law.
2006-103 Borough Council authorize the Mayor to sign any and all permits and applications with the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
2006-104 Mayor and Borough Council name Lori Martin to be Deputy Registrar of Vital Statistics effective retroactively back to July 1, 2006 with an expiration date of December 31, 2006.
2006-105 Borough Council authorize appropriate officials to execute agreement with Robert Wood Johnson Hospital regarding its emergency medical service third party billing procedure and related Medicare requirements.
2006-106 Borough Council authorize Borough Engineer and other appropriate officials to execute application with the NJ DOT for a grant for improvements to Old Stage Road from New Brunswick Avenue to Summerhill Road.
2006-107 Mayor and Borough Council urge passage of Assembly Bill A2966, which would authorize the Commissioner of Community Affairs to utilize funds in the new home warranty fund to grant interest-free loans to homeowners to replace polybutylene water piping.
2006-108 Mayor and Borough Council desires to be on record in supporting the Middlesex County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund and desires to notify its elected representatives in the New Jersey Legislature of its support of Assembly Bill 2660 to protect the municipal taxpayers of the State of New Jersey from punitive awards.
2006-109 Borough Council authorize appropriate officials of the Borough of Spotswood to execute with French and Parrello Associates an agreement for the purpose of Visual Dam Inspection in accordance with the requirements of the NJ DEP.
2006-110 The governing body applied for additional funds for Crescent Avenue through Municipal Aid and Local Pedestrian Safety-FY2003 to the NJDOT and received $7,250 and authorize appropriate officials to execute the appropriate application.
2006-111 Advice and consent of Borough Council for the reappointment of CFO and after said reappointment qualifies the CFO for tenure as provided for in N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.8(a).

2006-113 Borough Council authorize the Municipal Clerk to issue a renewal license for the operation of the junkyard for the year 2006.

2006-115 Borough Council authorize appropriate officials of the Borough to sign the 2007 Drug Alliance Grant Application.
