AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANES OF THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD BY AMENDING CHAPTER 2 - BOROUGH COUNCIL, ARTICLE II BY AMENDING SECTION 2-4 COMPENSATION AND ARTICLE IV - MAYOR AND ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION BY AMENDING SECTON 2-24 G. MAYOR.

2017-112    Purchase of a sanitation truck from Campbell Freightliner LLC under NJ State Co-op.
In the amount of $123,270.26.  Funds for this purchase are in Bond Ordinance 2017-04M.

2017-113    Purchase of a Hopper Body for Sanitation truck from Sanitation Equipment Corp. under NJ State Co-op in the amount of $87,050.63.  Funds for this purchase are in Bond Ordinance 2017-04M.

2017-114    Purchase of anFX30 Vacuum Excavation System from Jesco Inc. under NJ State  Co-op in the amount of $64,614.95.  Funds for this purchase are in Bond Ordinance 2017-04M.

2017-115    Purchase of  a 747-FR2000 ECO Trailer Mounted High Pressure Sewer Cleaner (Sewer Jetter) from Jet Vac Equipment under NJ State Co-op in the amount of $74,044.29.  Funds for this purchase are in Bond Ordinance 2017-03M.

2017-116    Mayor and Council of the Borough authorized the refund of $3,055.60 payable to DeStefano Contracting, LLC in resolution of any outstanding claims in reference to the subdivision on Brooklyn Avenue block 68, lots 38-47 and Block 84, Lots 8-10.

2017-117    Borough Council authorized the CFO to refund the Cash Bond in the amount of $500.00 to Church of Immaculate Conception which was posted for the carnival.

2017-118    Resolution urging the State Legislature to extend the 2% cap on Police and fire arbitration Contract Awards.

2017-119    Borough Council reject bid received for Spotswood Municipal Building HVAC Improvements from Hanna's Mechanical Contracting, Inc. from Milltown, NJ, who was found to be the lowest most responsible bidder, however the bid exceeds funds available for this project.

2017-120    Payment of bills.

APPLICATIONS - Kyle Koch and Mitchell T. Meade wish to become Cadet Members of the Spotswood Fire Department.
