ORDINANCE 2008-13

BOND ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF BOND ORDINANCE NO. 10-2007, ADOPTED JULY 9, 2007 TO AMEND THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS AUTHORIZED TO BE UNDERTAKEN IN AND BY THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY.

2008-119 Appoint Frank Slomko to a full membership of the Zoning Board and move John Vento from Alternate #2 to Alternate #1 on the Zoning Board of Adjustments.

2008-120 Borough Council authorize the appropriate officials of the Borough to sign the grant application for the 2009 Municipal Alliance.

2008-121 Borough Council authorize the CFO to refund the cash Bond in the amount of $500 to the Church of the Immaculate Conception held for their Carnival, all inspections and payments to the Borough were made.

2008-122 Performance Bond release request and authorized per CME correspondence dated 7/7/08 for property known as Block 90.01, Lot 6 and posting of maintenance bond and all outstanding engineering inspection fees and any Borough fees to be paid.

2008-123 Tax Collector authorized to refund $98.51 utility overpayment for property known as 12 Cedar Brook Lane due to over charge.

2008-124 Tax Collector authorized to refund $219.28 water/sewer overpayment for property known as 317 Main Street due to over charge.

2008-125 Tax Collector authorized to refund $124.21 water/sewer overpayment for property known as 58 Jefferson Drive due to over charge.

2008-126 Tax Collector authorized to refund $717.30 to property known as 505 Main Street, this account was estimated for six quarters for water/sewer and due to incorrect read there was an over charge.

2008-127 Borough Council authorize the CFO to pay the sum of $2,035.59 for redemption of Tax Sale Certificate #070007 for property known as Block 104, Lot 2.

2008-128 Borough Council authorize the CFO to pay the sum of $386.17 for redemption of Tax Sale Certificate #070009 for property known as Block 110.7, Lot 8.

2008-129 Temporary Emergency Appropriation #4 amending 2008-97 removing $60,000 for acquisition of ambulance.

2008-130 Resolution requesting refund of recreation registration in the amount of $40.00 due to child not attending the program.

2008-131 Borough Council authorize the CFO to refund $280.00 to Canteen Vending due to removal of vending machines from premises of Schweitzer Maudit.

2008-132 Borough Council authorize the appropriate officials to execute an inter local service agreement with the County of Middlesex for the purpose of proper removal of chlorofluorocarbons and other ozone depleting compounds from household appliances such as refrigerators and air conditioners.
