ORDINANCE 2008-14

A LOAN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, STATE OF NEW JERSEY APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE ENTERING INTO, EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF A LOAN AND SECURITY AGREEMENT WITH THE MIDDLESEX COUNTY IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY FOR THE UNDERTAKING OF VARIOUS 2008 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AND THE ACQUISITION AND INSTALLATION, AS APPLICABLE, OF VARIOUS EQUIPMENT WITH AN ESTIMATED COST OF $680,000, THE COST OF SUCH IMPROVEMENTS AND EQUIPMENT TO BE FINANCED THROUGH THE ISSUANCE OF COUNTY-GUARANTEED CAPITAL EQUIPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2008 OF THE MIDDLESEX COUNTY IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY.

ORDINANCE 2008-15

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE ENTERING INTO, EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF A LEASE AND AGREEMENT WITH THE MIDDLESEX COUNTY IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF COUNTY-GUARANTEED CAPITAL EQUIPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2008 OF THE MIDDLESEX COUNTY IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY.

2008-137 The governing body has complied with the promulgation of the Local Finance Board of the State of New Jersey that they personally reviewed the annual report of audit and specifically the sections of annual audit entitled general comments and recommendations.

2008-138 Borough Council has reviewed the schedule of engineering services and retainer payments for the year 2008 and approve and authorize the appropriate officials of the borough to execute a contract with CME Associates for the purpose of engineering services.

2008-139 Borough Council authorize the CFO to pay the sum of $30,106.63 for the redemption of tax certificate #050008 for property known as Block 111.1, Lot 11.

2008-140 A person to person transfer of Plenary Retail Consumption License Number 1224-32-001-002 from KKJ Liquors Inc to Shree Umiyaji, LLC.

2008-141 Amending resolution 2008-105 by adding a new paragraph regarding electronic grant application submission for grant application and execution of a grant agreement with the New Jersey DOT for the Old Stage Road Improvements - Phase II.

2008-142 Borough Council accept application from Oasis Taxi to do business in the Borough of Spotswood and authorize the Borough Clerk to issue licenses to the owners and drivers after inspection of cars by Police Department.

2008-143 Tribute to Senior Citizen Club celebrating their 40th Anniversary.
