ORDINANCE - 2ND  READING - PUBLIC HEARING

ORDINANCE 2016-12
BOND ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VARIOUS WATER-SEWER UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS, INCLUDING THE ACQUISITION AND INSTALLATION OF VALVES AND HYDRANTS, APPROPRIATING $100,000 THEREFOR AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $100,000 BONDS AND NOTES TO FINANCE A PORTION OF THE COSTS THEREOF, AUTHORIZED IN AND BY THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY

2016-138    Borough Council authorized the appropriate officials to enter into a renewal Interlocal Service Agreement with the Township of East Brunswick for the services of Animal Control for one year.

2016-139    Appointment of Crossing Guards for school year 2016-207.

2016-140    Borough Council joins with New Jersey municipalities I calling on elected officials serving New  Jersey at all level of government to work in concert to regulate sales of animas from puppy  and kitten mills.

2016-141    Borough Council authorized Construction Official and CFO to refund unused/ cancelled permit.

2016-142    Borough Council authorize the release of a performance bond to Rite Aid recommended by CME Associates as all bonded improvements have been completed and since performance bond has been in place for numerous years beyond completion date Council waive remitting a maintenance bond.

2016-143    Professional Service CME Associates to perform construction administration for an additional cost of $5,085.00 for the Daniel Road Water Treatment plant Upgrades.

2016-144    Professional Service CME Associates to perform construction administration for an additional cost of $12,320.00 for the Sewage Pump Station Improvements project.

2016-145    Professional Service Acari + Iovino to perform a feasibility study on the HVAC systems at the Municipal Building and Office On Aging for a fee not to exceed $6,500.00.

2016-146    Payment of bills
