BOND ORDINANCE AMENDING IN PART BOND ORDINANCE NO. 2014-09 ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2014, PROVIDING FOR VARIOUS GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS, IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE APPROPRIATION THEREFOR BY $75,000 FOR A TOTAL APPROPRIATION OF $920,000, TO INCREASE THE AUTHORIZED BONDS AND NOTES TO BE ISSUED TO FINANCE A PORTION OF THE COSTS THEREOF BY $71,000 FOR A TOTAL DEBT AUTHORIZATION OF $537,600, AND TO EXPAND THE SCOPE OF IMPROVEMENTS TO INCLUDE IMPROVEMENTS TO RICHMOND AVENUE, AUTHORIZED IN AND BY THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, IN THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, NEW JERSEY

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF SPOTSWOOD, COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AMENDING CHAPTER 28, ADMINISTRATION OF GOVERNMENT, ARTICLE I, ESTABLISHMENT AND ORGANIZATION, AMENDING SECTIONS 28-1, DEPARTMENT ESTABLISHED; COMPOSITION, 28-3 CONTROL OF DEPARTMENT, 28-4 DUTIES OF OFFICERS, 28-5 RULES AND REGULATIONS, 28-9 COMPENSATION, 28-10 REMOVAL AND SUSPENSION AND DELETING SECTIONS 28-12, ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION AND 28-11 VACATIONS.

2015-143     CFO authorized to make adjustments of funds for checking accounts, statement savings, passbook savings and money market funds by reconciling these accounts relating to the period ending December 31, 2013 and December 31, 2014 for items deemed outdated and stale.

2015-144     Borough Council authorize the purchase of two Chevrolet Tahoe vehicles for the Police Department from Mall Chevrolet in the amount of $65,800.00

2015-145    Borough Council authorize the award of bided contract for improvements to Madie Avenue, a portion of Richmond and DPW yard improvements to Black Rock Enterprises, LLC and authorize the appropriate officials to execute the contract.

2015-146    Mayor and Borough Council waive garage sale permit fees for the purpose of town wide garage sale to be held 9/26 and 9/27/15.

2015-147     Amend EMS building improvements proposal by amending 2012-133 resolution for additional funds for architectural services to include structural repairs as a result of findings from the Structural Engineer Evaluation for a cost not to exceed $11,900.00

2015-148     Borough Council authorize the Municipal Clerk to issue a license for Church of Immaculate Conception to hold their October Fest on 10/2/& 3/15.

2015-149    Borough council authorize the appropriate officials to execute all instruments necessary to complete the transaction for the purchase of emergency equipment -- two Chevy Tahoe Police Vehicles under State Contract plus fire extinguishers not under State Contract.

2015-150    Payment of bills in the amount of $1,673,853.41
