RESOLUTIONS - UNDER CONSENT AGENDA

2007-146 Borough Council authorize the appropriate officials to execute the renewal of a public health inter local for the purpose of the Borough obtaining public health services from the County of Middlesex for the years 2008 and 2009.

2007-147 Tax Collector authorized to refund $605.25 tax over payment from the NJ Saver Rebate for property known as Block 109.4, Lot 14, taxes are paid in full.

2007-148 Tax Collector authorized to refund $2,163.18 to Land America Tax and Flood Services due to duplicate payment for property known as Block 85.15, Lot 3.

2007-149 Tax Collector authorized to refund various tax over payments to First American Real Estate Tax Service, over payment due to payments made by title company and First American.

2007-150 Resolution requesting the State Legislature to adopt a new funding formula for municipal libraries.

2007-151 Exempt Municipal Clerks from penalties for OPRA requests from other departments.

2007-152 Urge Congress to adopt legislation creating a comprehensive, integrated national catastrophe plan to better prepare and protect American homeowners from inevitable, large-scale natural catastrophes that includes a financial backstop supported by actuarially sound premiums to improve the availability of reasonably priced property and casualty insurance from private markets to homeowners throughout the nation.

2007-153 Borough Council authorize the appropriate borough officials to execute a contract between Heyer Gruel and Associates and the Borough of Spotswood for professional planning services for the review of the Borough's Master Plan.

2007-154 Professional Service contract amendment for Gary Schwartz to defend the borough in the matter of Borough of Spotswood vs. Perry Giancola and Fernando Giancola in a Civil Action Complaint.

2007-155 Borough Council authorize the Mayor and Borough Clerk to execute a contract with the Borough of Spotswood's P.B.A. Local 225 including amendments which were negotiated and agreed upon for the years January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2010.

2007-156 Conclusion of contract negotiations with the PBA and United Food & Commercial Workers Union employees, which contracts include a provision that employees who are members of and receive health care benefits for their spouse shall contribute $25.00 per month, therefore the appropriate officials of the borough shall notify all non-union employees of the same with a 60 day notice that said employees are required to contribute $25.00 commencing January 1, 2008.

2007-157 Payment of Bills

2007-158 Borough Council authorize Mayor and Borough Clerk to execute agreement to remove the Captain of Police position from the PBA Local 225 Bargaining Unit.
