RESOLUTIONS - UNDER CONSENT AGENDA

2006-157 Borough Council authorize CFO to refund $650.00 for application fees and release the balance of escrow in the amount of $2,570.50 for property known as Block 11, Lot 1 & 2 due to withdrawal of application before the Planning Board.

2006-158 Resolution providing for the insertion of any special item of revenue in the budget of a municipality pursuant to NJSA 40A:4-87 in the amount of $5,492.22 State of New Jersey - Drunk Driving Enforcement Fund.

2006-159 Borough Council authorize the Mayor and Borough Clerk to enter into an inter local agreement with the County of Middlesex for the purpose of establishing procedures for emergency responses and payment of costs when emergency HAZMAT response is required within the Borough.

2006-160 Borough Council authorize the Borough Clerk to add additional wrecker to the 2006 police tow list.

2006-161 CME Associates is hereby authorized to perform professional engineering services in connection with the preparation of bid phase services for the Summerhill Road Sidewalk Improvements not to exceed $3,640.00.

2006-162 Borough Council give advice and consent to enable Edward H. Herman to serve as Municipal Judge of the Municipal Court of the Borough of Spotswood for a term expiring October 1, 2009 for a yearly salary of $17,752.67 yearly.

2006-163 Borough Council authorize the appropriate officials to enter into a contract for the 2006 Roadway Improvements bids received September 13, 2006 and found Meco, Inc. as the lowest most responsible bidder in the amount of $277,385.00 as noted in the reports of the borough engineer and borough attorney.

2006-164 Resolution to amend resolution 2006-144 adopted September 6, 2006 authorizing a deferred compensation program for Borough employees and elected officials due to lack of listing of providers who submitted proposals.

2006-165 Sale of Denver Compressor to the Borough of Helmetta for $1.00 which is no longer needed by the Borough of Spotswood.

2006-166 Borough Council authorize the Borough Clerk to advertise for a public auction of surplus and abandoned/unclaimed vehicles and various bicycles along with personal items no longer needed by the Borough.

2006-167 Reappoint Theodore Ricci to the Zoning board of Adjustments for a four year term ending 10/1/2010.
