Enjoy an afternoon of chills & thrills,
when the Friends of the Spotswood Public Library
host Neill Hartley of the American Historical Theatre
when he becomes Washington Irving in this one-man living history presentation
designed to educate and entertain audiences of all ages.
Ichabod Crane, Washington Irving & The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
introduces the audience to Mr. Irving as he tells about his early life
and the beginnings of his great literary career.
Mr. Irving will then become narrator and actor of his own famous work,
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
You will see his alter ego, Ichabod Crane, in the classroom and at a party
where he dances with the girl he loves.
Then you will follow him on his fateful journey home as he encounters
the Headless Horseman and disappears from the Hollow forever.
