Obtaining a Library Card:
- Anyone who lives, works, or attends school in Spotswood may apply for a free library card.
- Non-residents may purchase an individual card for $50.00 year, good for services and programs of the Spotswood Public Library.
- Lost cards will be replaced for a $2.00 fee.
Loan Period:
- Most materials are loaned for (2) weeks unless otherwise stated.
- Videos, DVDs and high demand 'best sellers' are loaned for (7) seven days and cannot be renewed.
- Most materials can be renewed over the phone or in person at the library.
Returns:
- Books, periodicals, and videocassettes may be returned in the outdoor book drop.
- CDs, audiobooks, Hooked on Phonics and DVDs must be returned inside.

Mission Statement
The Spotswood Public Library has as its mission the provision of informational educational and recreational materials in a variety of formats to meet the needs and reflect the interest of our community.
The library is committed to providing high interest, high demand materials in a timely fashion; developing programs and opportunities for children to experience the joys of reading; offering accurate and reliable supplementary resources for use by students; serving as a source for self education and personal enrichment; and acting as a conduit for informational, educational, cultural, and recreational experiences.
