Schedule Appointments
In order to devote quality time to assist the Senior Citizens of Spotswood with their personal needs, it is NECESSARY for you to call in advance to schedule an appointment with Bettie Galdo, for Information and Assistance or Janine Balazs, Director. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10am and noon, Tami McGeachy, social worker, will be available to assist you. She will be located in the Office on Aging Center. No appointment is necessary.
Nursing Home Van Service
The Office on Aging is now offering van service to local nursing homes. These facilities must be located in East Brunswick or Old Bridge. The hours for this new service will be 11:00 am - 3:00 pm - Monday thru Friday. To arrange for a pick-up, you must contact the Senior Center as soon as possible. There is a two-dollar donation for this service.
Shuttle Bus Service
Shuttle bus schedules are available at the Spotswood Office on Aging. For further information: 1-800-221-3520

Mail Truck
Each month the mail truck comes on the 2nd Tuesday 10:15 am - 11:00 am
and 4th Thursday 9:15 am - 10:00 am.
New Postal Prices Effective May 12, 2008
First-Class mail, will increase to $.42 but you can continue to use the "Forever Stamps".
Medical Appointments
For an appointment, please call Jo from 9 am to 1 pm daily. This is a shared ride; we may need to pick you up earlier according to our schedule. Cancellations must be made ASAP, or at least one day prior to your appointment. All appointments can only be made through the Office. Thank you, in advance for your cooperation. Reminder, there is a $2.00 Charge for this service.
Nutrition
Join us for a delicious hot meal Monday through Friday at 11:30 am. Vegetarian meals are also available. A donation of $2.25 is suggested. Menus are available, home deliveries can be arranged; contact Jane at 732-416-1140, for details.

Art classes on Mondays at 10 am. All are welcome.
