	Spotswood Office on Aging / Senior Center Hours of operation: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM The Office on Aging / Senior Center is a wheelchair-accessible facility offering a wide variety of activities and services for our senior residents 60 years and older and their families. Some services are offered to the Disabled. We are a New Jersey E.A.S. E. Access Point and provide the following services: • Transportation to various shopping centers and stores • Food shopping for Senior and Disabled residents - Wheelchair accessible • Local errands (banking, pharmacies, businesses in Spotswood) • Local day trips • Medical transportation (Senior & Disabled residents) - Wheelchair accessible • Health screenings and educational seminars • Special events • Exercise Classes: Yoga, Yoga Stress, Gold Zumba, Healthy Bones, Fit for Life, and Line Dancing • Computer classes (Comcast internet service) • Wii Bowling and other games • Mah Jongg, Chess, Bingo, etc. (We have games for visually impaired) • Low- vision reader (available to all residents) • Links to community resources Information & Assistance With entitlements including but not limited to: • PAAD (Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled) • Lifeline utility programs • HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program) • Income tax preparation and PTR (Property Tax Rebate) Referral to County and State Programs such as: • MCMAP (Middlesex County Multi-Assistive Program), etc. • COPSA Safe Housing Grant Opportunities • CDBG Housing repair and accessible modification • S.H.I.P Counseling for Senior & Disabled Residents with Medicare Mission Statement: *We are committed to providing our senior residents with the support and resources to live independent and productive lives in our community.*
