Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (Office on Aging)
Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (Senior Center)

The Office on Aging / Senior Center is a wheelchair-accessible facility offering a wide variety of activities and service for our senior residents 55 years and older and their families.  Some services are offered to the Disabled.

We are a New Jersey A.D.R.C. (Aging and Disable Resource Connection) Center and provide the following services:

         Transportation to various shopping centers and stores
         Food shopping for Senior & Disabled residents - Wheelchair accessible
         Local errands (banking, pharmacies, businesses in Spotswood)
         Local day trips
         Medical transportation (Senior & Disable residents) - Wheelchair accessible
         Health screenings and educational seminars
         Special events
         Exercise classes:  Yoga, Fit for Life, Stress Reduction Breathing
         Computer classes
         Bingo, card games
         Crocheting & Knitting:  Nimble Fingers and Stitch in Time
         Young at Heart Chorus


With entitlements including but not limited to:

         PAAD (Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled)
         Lifeline utility programs
         HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program)
         Income tax preparation and PTR (Property Tax Rebate)
         S.H.I.P. Counseling for Senior & Disabled Residents with Medicare
        Links to community resources

Referral to County and State Programs such as:

         MCMAP (Middlesex County Multi-Assistive Program), etc.
         COPSA (Comprehensive Services on Aging)

Safe Housing Grant Opportunities

         CDBG Housing repair and accessible modification
         SHTP Home Safety & Residential Maintenance
