PROCLAMATION:
WHEREAS, Howard A. Keenan, was appointed Council Liaison to the Spotswood Public Library in 1994 and served with dedicated interest and loyal devotion until June, 2006; and
WHEREAS, Howie was a welcome presence at the library, proving sound judgment, diplomatic tact and a sense of humor; and
WHEREAS, Howie, has given freely of his time and effort towards the betterment and improvement of the Spotswood Public Library and the Borough of Spotswood to ensure that the residents will benefit in as many areas as possible; and
WHEREAS, Howie has volunteered to continue his service to the library as a member of the Spotswood Library Board of Trustees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that I, Barry H. Zagnit, Mayor of the Borough of Spotswood along with the Borough Council, extend sincere thanks and appreciation to Howard A. Keenan for his dedication and service to our fine library. Further, we wish him much health and happiness in all of his future endeavors.
