Spotswood Proudly Salutes:
Pvt. Michael J. Barnes, USMC
son of Spotswood resident Carol Barnes.
Pvt. Barnes finished basic training at Parris Island in April, 2009
and graduated from Infantry Training at Camp Geiger, N.C.
He is currently serving with the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Division,
Kilo Company, 1st Platoon in K-Bay Hawaii.
Michael will be deploying to Afghanistan in April of 2010.
Pvt. Justin Malone
son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Malone of Spotswood.
Justin Malone graduated from Fort Benning, Ga on November 20. He was in Task Force 1-330, 19th Infantry.
On December 6 he will leave for his home base in Fort Bliss, TX.
Justin: we're all so proud of you.
Specialist Jason T. Arrants
grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Phelps of Spotswood.
He is now stationed in Afghanistan.
Jason: God bless you and keep you safe.
