Medical Transportation

The Spotswood Office on Aging provides transportation for medical appointments in Spotswood, East Brunswick, Helmetta, Jamesburg, Monroe, and Old Bridge for Spotswood residents 55 or for residents on Social Security Disability.

  • You must be registered with the center to use this service
  • This service is curb-to-curb (you must be able to ambulate independently or have someone with you to assist)
  • There is a suggested donation of $2 one way/$4 round trip for this service
  • This is a shared service and you may be asked to ride with other clients

  • We cannot guarantee the availability of the driver and request you make your appointment as soon as possible to reserve your spot

To arrange transportation, please call our office at 732-251-3432 and ask to speak with Josephine Tramutolo, our Transportation Coordinator. You will be asked to provide the date and time of your appointment, your name, address, phone number, and your doctor's name, address, and phone number.

Local Transportation

The Spotswood Office on Aging provides transportation to essential services, including food shopping and local errands for residents 55 and over or on Social Security Disability as well as special day trips (residents 55 and over only.)

  • You must be registered with the center to use this service
  • This service is curb-to-curb (you must be able to ambulate independently or have someone with you to assist)
  • There is a suggested donation of $1 for this service

Center Transportation

The Spotswood Office on Aging provides daily transportation to the senior center for scheduled activities and events (residents 55 and over only.)

  • You must be registered with the center to use this service
  • This service is curb-to-curb (you must be able to ambulate independently or have someone with you to assist)
  • There is a suggested donation of $1 for this service
