DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKSSanitation Laborer - Under the supervision of the Principal Public Works Employee, the successful candidate will perform the necessary manual work involved in loading garbage and refuse from rear yards and curbs into trucks; perform related work as required, including, but not limited to, unloading trucks at the dump site, maintaining and cleaning the trucks, and snow plowing/snow blowing duties as may be necessary. CDL-B license must be achieved during six-month probationary period. Must be able to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods, often under adverse weather conditions. MUNICIPAL COURT: The Spotswood Municipal Court is seeking to hire a qualified individual for the position of part-time Deputy Court Administrator. Excellent customer service skills, attention to details, organization and self-motivation are a must. Successful candidate will work under the direction of the Municipal Court Judge and Municipal Court Administrator. Applicants should have experience in all aspects of the court administration, including a strong working knowledge of Criminal Justice Reform, ATS/ACS computer system, MACS,and Page Center. Experience in case flow management and other computer applications are a plus. Responsibilities include, but not limited to Answering queries from the public, employees, clients, attorneys, etc; supervising staff; preparing, reviewing and monitoring daily, weekly and monthly reports, evaluating reports, drafting correspondence, performing data entry, scheduling cases; complying with the New Jersey Rules of the Court, Supreme Court Directives, laws and established policies and procedures governing the operation of the Municipal Courts. Perform related duties as required. Must work evening court sessions. Candidates must be accredited as set forth in the Rule 1:41-3.
