We are committed to providing our senior residents with the support and resources to live independent and productive lives in our community.
Open to all Spotswood residents 55 and older.
As per the recent announcement from the Office of the Governor of New Jersey, as of May 28, 2021:
Fully vaccinated members who attend activities at the senior center are no longer required to wear masks. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, you are welcome to do so.
The requirement for maintaining six feet of social distance in the center is lifted.
You will no longer need to call the center in the morning to register for an activity. You will still need to pre-register for shopping trips, restaurant trips, and events where noted, but you can call prior to the day of those activities.
For now, masks are still required when being transported by our bus, however, we have lifted the social distancing requirements.
Appointments are now being held in person again. Our office offers assistance with Medicare counseling, applying for utility and property tax relief, home safety grants, and other social services. If you need an appointment or more information, please call the office at (732) 251-3432.
We will continue to disinfect the center and bus as before, and we ask that you continue to wash your hands and/or use hand sanitizer frequently. If you aren't feeling well, protect yourself and others by staying home. As always, all protocols are subject to change at the discretion of the CDC and the Office of the Governor of the State of New Jersey. For COVID updates, click HERE.
